CoinDesk - Bitcoin Price & News App Reviews

When first opened connected pops up in middle and you have no control over the app. No buttons work and typically it takes killing the app and trying again for it to work.. Come on guys put out a fix already. Update Mar 2016: Still same issues. Come on coin desk team. I have officially abandoned your app. Update May 2016: Same issues. Frozen on price screen with connected on screen..Stopped visiting and using Coindesk completely.

If you want an app to give you price notifications, keep looking. They simply dont work, at least in my case. And yes, I have Notification Center set up properly. BOOOOO!

Well designed app; works well. Usually adds a few Bitcoin related articles each day. The price tracker is also good, but it would be even more useful if it allowed the user to select a specific exchange price to track in addition to what coindesk uses.

How to turn on alert? It doesnt work:(

Im straight up impressed. Its extremely similar to the zeroblock app, except a much better feeling interface and significantly nicer charts, albeit still limited. I just wish you could switch back and forth between mbtc. For being new though. Its fantastic!

Honestly they got it right. Easy to use and simple. I like it better than Zeroblocks app the moment. Nice job!

Now if only apple would allow a bitcoin wallet

Overall, I see great potential with this app. However, the lack of a settings menu is the reason I give this 4.

So cleanly designed, fast, beautiful..yet, one of the most important sections has a design flaw: the article titles in the news section are all too long for the space given to display them (all end halfway through with ellipsis...).

I use this app every day. Great for checking values, and accessing bitcoin related news articles. Slick interface, easy to use.

I wanted something better looking than zeroblock and this is it! I might like to see more exchanges instead of this btc index. But love the stories page

Used their web app before iPhone app, they really do a great job and application looks great on iOS 7

Great app. Clean, fluid UI. In tab 2, horizontally swiping should switch between Day/Week/Month, not between OHLC and Closing Price.

I love the limited but key features, thatall look great and work almost great. Two issues: - bug: ccy conversion is broken when using comma for decimal separator. Eg: 1 xbt = 600 usd, but 1,5 xbt = 9000 usd - suggestion: low/high alerts should accept manual entry as well (gestures arent precise enough) Excellent work, otherwise!

Application doesn’t seem to want to install completely. :( I’ll wait for an update I guess?

I agree swiping should switch between day, week, month view on the graphs. Also itd be great if the share button had the option of just copying the link to share in other apps (like LINE)

I love coin desk but I would like it if they improved the feature that lets you swipe between articles. Some articles dont fit the whole screen and when you track around the screen (to view a large image for example) it will jump to next article which is annoying. Also it would be cool to be able to view a larger price history, please make it like your website if possible.
